All four are under the SIL Open Font License, with their license texts beside the files. EB Garamond ships as its Latin block plus the few accented letters these pages use, such as the ō in Gensō. The Chinese and Japanese faces are cut down to the characters these pages use; the full fonts run to several megabytes. Chinese and Japanese words inside English sentences use your system’s fonts.

Every colour in the interface comes from seven named tokens, each called after the material it stands for: 和紙 washi, the paper; 墨 sumi, the ink; 薄墨 usu, thin ink; 罫 kei, the rules; 棚 tana, a raised shelf; 藍 ai, indigo, for links; and 朱 shu, the vermilion of seal ink, used once, for the 蔵書印 in the 奥付. Night is the same paper with the lamp off, not an inverted palette. A faint paper grain, drawn by an SVG noise filter rather than an image, lies over every page except in print.

A current-section marker

On the home page, when it was a one-page CV. A one-page CV does not need a map of itself.

Dotted leaders

A row of dots from each claim to its note. A note pushed down by its neighbour could not have one, and the mix looked like a mistake; the line now appears only when you point at a claim.

It could not say more than the home page’s paragraph without the clinical data, so it became that paragraph.
